# Launch & the 15-day gate

For the first 15 days the pool only accepts buys that come through the product — you can't buy on a DEX, only win or convert inside CR8. **Sells are free from day one.** On day 15 the gate opens and direct buys open with it.

### The launch bonus

The window carries the biggest conversion bonus that will ever exist — **8 on top of every 100** — stepping to 4 when the gate opens. The ceiling is a constant pinned in code and tests; it is not a dial.
